The Queen And The Reigning King

jesus, god, bible

One morning, my body had a desire and I couldn’t help but give it the satisfaction it needed. In order to do so, I had to jump out of my beauty sleep and embarked on a short journey. The morning was still dark but that didn’t hinder my trip, nor did the curfew due to COVID-19. As a matter of fact, none of those could have stopped me as I’d only journeyed to my bathroom, where I instantly became the ‘queen of the throne’. My reign was short-lived, for minutes, but I was relaxed and my body was able to eliminate the unwanted easily.

I didn’t have any shooting pain so while still relaxing on the throne, my mind was able to quickly think of something else, a thief. However, it was about the bible verse that says the Righteous Judge will be coming like a thief in the night. Though the words don’t necessarily mean He’s gonna come in the night, I still had to ask self a question. “What if He comes in a night when many of us would have gone to sleep:
with hatred, unforgiveness and excess anger,
and still being a hypocrite and warmonger,
playing church and our houses are not in order,
deceiving people of different races and color,
being mean to the poor including the ragged beggar,
And overall, just being a wrongdoer?”

Our Saviour and reigning King is coming soon,
So let’s be ready as it could be morning, night, or noon;
Let’s always try to keep our hearts in tune.

Many keep saying they have been hearing of his coming a long time ago,

And there may not be a Judgement Day ‘show’,

But He never lies and is always on-time, for all I know.
