Always Tell of God’s Greatness!

It’s okay to be chatty-chatty or talkative when it comes to telling others about God’s greatness.

Here is why we should never keep His goodness to ourselves:

Mark 5:17–20 tells the story of a man who desperately wanted to follow Jesus after He cast out a legion of demons from him. But instead of allowing him to travel along, Jesus instructed him to go home and tell everyone about the great mercy and healing he received.

So, one of the many reasons we testify is to glorify God.

However, godly wisdom must be exercised when it’s time to share.

The details of some things are not for the public’s ear.

Months ago, I heard of a man who testified, but many people didn’t want to hear.

Why? They could not forgive him, and it would seem that what he had done was grossly unfair.

So it stirred up anger and unfortunately, someone showed him how much they didn’t care.

We may be explicit with some testimonies, on here or just about anywhere,

But with others, allow the Holy Spirit to tell us what, when, where, and even how to share.

I am a professional with a poetic voice: to inspire hope and purpose - ‘For I know the plans I have for you’ (Jeremiah 29:11); to motivate action in faith, for ‘Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord’ (Colossians 3:23). Along the way, I add a pinch of laughter, for ‘A cheerful heart is good medicine’ (Proverbs 17:22) and to top it off, I am trusting Proverbs 18:16 that my gift will open doors.
