Unforgiveness is an Energy-Scammer!

As of today, let’s stop carrying unforgiveness in our hearts, as it tends to drain our energy.

With that said, let’s forgive each other and set ourselves free.

The spirit of unforgiveness will destroy us if we don’t let it be,

And to be honest, it’s unhealthy both naturally and spiritually.

Here is something that we need to ponder, it’s key:

“Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends” (Prov. 17:9). “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:14–15).

Also, it feels good when God forgives us, so if people have wronged us and are genuinely sorry, then they too would be happy if we forgive them. And remember, whether they are genuinely sorry or not, God wants us to forgive them. Each time we see them, no bitterness should be boiling up inside.

No rage, no anger should be flowing like any tide.

In fact, only love and perfect peace should abide.

The truth is, too often we want God to forgive us for the many wrongs we have done, yet we won’t allow unforgiveness to flee.

Isn’t that selfishness to the highest degree?

Well, throughout this season, let’s try to go on a “forgiving spree.”

Let’s forgive those who have wronged us and then set ourselves free.

Let’s soften our hearts and stop behaving as if they’re tougher than the toughest tree.

Remember, the God of mercy is still extending His love to you and me.

So, let’s extend the same love to everyone, for in Him we share the same decree.

I am a professional with a poetic voice: to inspire hope and purpose - ‘For I know the plans I have for you’ (Jeremiah 29:11); to motivate action in faith, for ‘Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord’ (Colossians 3:23). Along the way, I add a pinch of laughter, for ‘A cheerful heart is good medicine’ (Proverbs 17:22) and to top it off, I am trusting Proverbs 18:16 that my gift will open doors.
