The King Is Still Coming!

I’m grateful that I’m no longer blind but can now see.

That the Lord’s grace is more than enough for me.

One day He is going to return as a Righteous Judge and will say to some of us:

“Well done, My good and faithful servant. Your service was pleasing to Me.”

However, those who dishonor Him will be in such torment that they may want to go on a “hiding” spree,

Trying to hide behind a large rock or even a huge tree,

Saying, “I’m doomed and want to die, so please crush me!”

But unfortunately, death will no longer be around to set them free.

Judgment Day is one of the events on God’s calendar.

Yes, He is still coming – don’t think He has forgotten or will decide not to bother.

So in the meantime, let us repent, honor Him, and stop hurting one another.

Let’s love everyone, not just siblings born of the same mother.

God is not partial, because to Him, partiality is abominable.

So whatever He does on that Day will surely be fair and equitable.

Mercy’s door is still open, so let us turn from our ungodliness and begin doing what’s acceptable.

Let us ask for His mercy and His forgiveness while they are still available.

In the days of Noah, He was the one who locked the ark’s door.

The day when the unrighteous realized their warning time was no more.

I can imagine how many wept bitterly on the earth’s floor,

Wishing they had made their calling and election sure.

2 Corinthians 5:10 says:

“For we [believers will be called to account and] must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be repaid for what has been done in the body, whether good or bad—that is, each will be held responsible for his actions, purposes, goals, motives, and the use or misuse of his time, opportunities, and abilities.”

So, let’s take heed my friends, my peep.

Let’s set our lives in order – giving it a clean sweep.

Let’s live according to His standard because Judgement Day still a keep.

Isaiah 3:10-11
Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their labor. Woe to the wicked; disaster is upon them! For they will be repaid with what their hands have done.

I am a professional with a poetic voice: to inspire hope and purpose - ‘For I know the plans I have for you’ (Jeremiah 29:11); to motivate action in faith, for ‘Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord’ (Colossians 3:23). Along the way, I add a pinch of laughter, for ‘A cheerful heart is good medicine’ (Proverbs 17:22) and to top it off, I am trusting Proverbs 18:16 that my gift will open doors.
